My wife Jean and I had been looking for just the right beach property for about 14 years all the way from the Outer Banks to Oak Island. We needed to be close to Raleigh, but nothing seemed to fit our budget and overall needs, which were many (proximity to ocean, boating access, golf, pool, tennis).
